I really liked the movement of the character and the controls. I just wish the camera positioning was a bit better. One suggestion I have is that maybe you can have a blocking feature, so if you successfully block a punch you can gain stamina. It is just an idea and I want to say I really liked the demo.

How do I play with an iOS?

You can't play on iOS, for now, Pontypants said he later was gonna export it to Mac. You just need to wait a bit.

Hi there!  I'm a big fan from Brazil and loved the mouse and keyboard control, but what is the input for blocking?

The game is designed for controller, the mouse and keyboard controls lack blocking sadly. I don't have a controller so I couldn't really try the game as the other people in the video of the reactions.

When I open the game this window opens and the game doesn't start. I don't know what could be causing the problem, but I remember trying to open the game version 0.16 and happened the same.

It may be because you have a 32-bit computer, in the video when Pontypants tried to export the game to 32-bit, it was an error so he exported the game to 64-bit only.

No, it is not. I searched and may there be a problem with UE4

i couldnt play the demo because i dont have a controller but now it is not too bad with mouse and keyboard but it does need a bit of tweeking as pontypants said in the video but now it is pretty good.BTW did anyone find the easter egg because i cant

Hi everybody (and specially Pontypants, if you are actually reading this). I found 1 bug with the particles system.

If you charge your left hand, the red tiny particles appear at the right hand (instead of the left), and if instead of kick, you cancell the attack (by blocking) the particle system of the right hand won't stop.

I really like it. Feels fluid and fun, I like the idea of being able to block with one arm while trying to jab with the other and the punch sound effects sound really satisfying. The only thing I wanna do that the game seems to fight me on is to do combos. Most of the video I'm trying to do a quick 3-hit combo and stamina just does not like that. Sometimes I can't even seem to do 2. It might just be me, I'm sure if I get more accustomed to the controls I'll get it, but when the game is called Punch A Bunch I find it weird that you're mostly timing a few punches and not able to try and quickly throw off your opponent with a few quick hits. Now, I'm not saying to let the player spam, but maybe ease up just a tad on the stamina to allow for a few fluid hits and maybe make the player stiffen a bit upon contact so it's easier to line up a second punch? Otherwise, you're still kinda just flailing to do a combo which feels un-wieldy. Just an idea. Also, I think you have it set to default aim for the head but I seem to wiff more than I'd like because I'm brought up to a smaller target rather than the big target that is the torso. I could be wrong and just plain bad so, make of it what you will. Can't wait to see where this goes

Upon further testing, I was in fact bad. It's actually kinda satisfying to do the 3 hit combo this way. My points may be moot

I would recommend that you add keyboard/mice input scheme since many people(including me ) do not have controllers which work. I have been loving your progress and would be happy if you K/M support

It works great but my controllers are kinda broken. So if you could add K/M support that would be awesome. An idea is that you could have the mouse position be the leaning direction of the player and the mouse click buttons be the punching buttons with wasd to move.

really great game! I really like the controls but it does take some time getting used to. I know it is a demo and is early in development but it could really be great to have something like different maps to keep it a bit away from the repetitiveness because I feel like after some time it's gonna get boring  if nothing really happens. It's really great nonetheless!

The controls feel great and it is fun to play. However, it is still evident that the work is not done (hopefully soon).

The options for movement of the entire fighter should definitely be more than just simple directional. I remember you working on a dash and I think its a good idea as long as it depends on the current stamina system.

A way to do uppercuts and fakes could be cool as well.

Also idle animations would be amazing.

Hey, that is a promising project!

I've practiced boxing a lot, and the 1st thing I tried was "jab/cross" but I see the character "tired". I think I understand why you did that, you probably want the game to be a "funny casual" game instead of a combo, fast paced versus fighting game. Being able to throw lightning fast punches would make a different game.

However, that's an interesting question to debate wether not you want to make a fun party game or something more complex to master, because the controls are pretty hard to get used to. Not everyone can grab the pad and have fun in 5 min.

I personnally love the "realistic" aspect of it, but with the visuals, it looks like you want to go for the party game.

I'm curious which path you will choose.

Loved what you got so far! Been watching your videos for weeks and really enjoyed the progress made and was exciting to try it out :) One feature I would like to see would be a clearer indication that you are running out of energy, like when you low on health the screen goes red but overall loved it!
