The top bar was shifted further. This means you can't launch pink mid launch which is what you have to successfully land blues jump.

Not impossible. I just did it by simply jumping 3 times. Walk, Jump, Boost, then jump again just in time. tricky, but possible.

The thing that ruined it for me was the big jump on
level 4-9 It was SUPER upsetting when I could not make it and had to restart

level 3 takes too long and I would not have guessed how to do it until I watched your video

I would recommend not making the player restart when they mess up a jump that is nearly impossible

I had a similar experience as MrMuff here! I really like the idea and the game, but I think you can try implementing a more forgiving "coyote time" or "jump buffer" so that the jumps feel a little more easy to execute and require less precision. :) Great game!

Very fun game! I love this idea.

Little bug in level 5. You can clear the jump with the 2 characters stack on each other but you won't be able to open the door or unstack them.

Amazing game man!! I like how everything in every level served a purpose. Clean and clever lever design :)

I found the later levels super challenging, not so much finding the solution as executing the solution.

If I have any constructive feedback and say make performing the actions of the solution easier, that was it's less of a pixel perfect platformer and more trying to solve the puzzle. Unless that's what you were going for, in which case I'd say, well done!! :)

Either way, sweet game dude. And amazing that you did it in 3 days while also recording a dev log video at the same time. Mad skills!!

Lol yea i played your game last year. Life is crazy sometimes.

I'd recommend just adding extra levels of varying difficulty to smooth out the difficulty curve, but not making the existing levels easier... it has a Hollow Knight/Ori / Super Meat Boy level of satisfaction with mastering the levels, as they are. Spend some time with ambience and decorations to liven up the world a little for atmosphere and you could easily make it a cool success. 

i cant beat level 4 with a keyboard. that jump is super hard. DOING IT TWICE?

Can't beat level 12 even with a walkthrough. Currently spent an hour on it but I just can't do it.

Regarding the audio bug, I think you need to set the size of the audio buffer to a smaller value

This is a fun puzzle game that got quite tricky near the end. I really like the concept on controlling two characters and being able to jump on top of each other.

It would be nice if you could back out of holes in the ground instead of having to reset though

The size of the game dosent fit the size of my screen and i cant see come parts of the level making it unplayable (i could reach the last non-castle level)

Skip buttons are unnecessary and are only used by people who do not overcome challenges. They are for people that do not care about the game, but only caring about the pride they have of finishing it.

extremely simple yet difficult puzzles. one of the few games worth playing. good game! (the jumping is too precise for a puzzle game without undo, but that's excused because you made it in 3 days)

here's a longplay of me taking a little over half an hour to beat it 

It's a cool game,  and I like the style/mechanics but here's a couple issues for the update: 

1: There is a glitch in the audio.  After playing for a few minutes, the audio (music and sfx) are all the sudden playing at half the sample rate (or something - it's glitchy slow) This is on windows 10 using ASIO audio.

2: The jumps for the first couple pit levels are annoyingly precise. Once we get the solution figured out, it still takes many tries because there are a few too many pixels involved. Some sort of averaging/ forgiveness on the jumps would greatly improve the game.

Overall a great game for 3 days development. Hopefully once the jam is done, it will get some more levels and polish.

Really well-made game, especially for a game jam game. I can see why it's become popular on Itch. I see I'm not the only one who has had struggled with some of the levels, but it's definitely interesting how you utilized the player controller's exploitation through your level design with how you nudge the characters closer by constantly hitting something, or vice versa to get them to go apart. Overall really fun simple game that probably could make it onto Steam (perhaps with more levels, maybe introducing other characters like a green person.


Oh also side note, you're music sounds very similar to Stardew Valley, one of my favorite casual farming games.

Hiiii, I've made a short video about the game and wanted to share some feedback with you :D, hopefully it is useful to you :)

-The main concept you have chosen for the game is pretty good and really fun.

-The gameplay mechanics are interesting as they have a puzzle and platformer twist at the same time.

-Visually the game looks good and fits perfectly the game.

-The difficulty of the levels has one or two random spikes between easy and hard, but most of the time the game stays pretty balanced.

i had to say i rage quitted on the sixth level

i hate this games humiliating difficulty

its supposed to be a puzzle game not a "if you cant do two frame perfect jumps in a row ill shoot you" you figure the puzzle out in 30 seconds and actually pull the trick off after 30 minutes

whats with the 3 pixel opportunity to jump on everything

Fun game, very polished for  a JAM. Good art and music (though a bit staticy). I completed the last level. I like the puzzle aspect, but I think the precision platforming doesn't feel fair in a puzzle game environment. Having to reset twenty times after figuring out what I needed to do was frustrating.
